Hurry back, Kyle Orton.
I see you're moving around, albeit a bit gingerly, and trying to play Sunday against the Packers.
All I can say is, if we can wheel you out there, it would be a massive improvement over Rex Grossman.
No offense to either good or bad Rex, but he stinks. Even good Rex. It's over for him in this town. He can't hit open receivers because he's just too short.
That's enough of the technical analysis. He was never tough enough mentally to play here. So let's lump him in with that other amazing No. 8, Cade McNownor McNever, as it were.
As I said, Kyle, the ankle doesn't have to be perfect. Run the shotgun, find the open guy, hit him. If not, throw it away.
I also would like our DBs to come back this week. And they played last week!
Nathan Vasher, Charles Tillmanyou stunk against a quarterback named Kerry. Man, that's weak.
Congratulations to Lou PiniellaNL Manager of the Year. Lou, the job isn't done. You know Ryan Dempster? Something tells me to let him go. You just know he had a career year with the Cubsand he was nothing in the playoffs.
Derrick Rose can stay as long as he wants. I'm sorry he has a sore back, but here's a theory why: He's working extremely hard in all facets of the gameincluding rebounding. In other words, he's better than Joakim Noah and Tyrus Thomas at rebounding, and he also shoots, scores and passes. If Thomas and Noah can't rebound, they are truly, deeply, worthless. So is Ben Gordon. Unless he's wide open, he can't knock down a shot. And he's terrible on defense.
As I've said before, it's Rose and no one elsemaybe Luol Deng, until the cavalry gets here. That should only take another eight to 10 years.
