Jenni Spinner hails from the northwest ’burb of Streamwood, where she spent far too much of her youth being a serious student, band geek, and all-around goody-goody.

Now that’s she’s in touch with her inner gay grrrl, Spinner (as her friends call her) has dedicated her life to such shenanigans as frequenting Spyner’s Pub on karaoke nights where she does a mean Cher; consuming copious quantities of Pabst Blue Ribbon, and honing her horizontal performance skills.

As a RedEye columnist, she hopes to entertain and educate all of Chicagoland with her tales of dancing, romancing and depantsing.

By day, Spinner is a mild-mannered business-to-business publications editor-on the glamorous topics of road construction, garbage collection and sewage treatment. At night, she alternates between frequent “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” viewings, playing bass (badly), and entertaining her unbelievably hot girlfriend.
